SHSAT: Specialized Hight Schools Admissions Test
THe center provides SHSAT test preparation resources for NYC public middle school students. Our main audience for this page is parents of 7th and 8th graders navigating the complex NYC high school admissions process. This page will offer a free SHSAT Parent Guide and introduce upcoming digital prep tools.
Requirements: Clean, modern, trustworthy design that appeals to everyday parents—not too institutional, not “tech startup.” Visual tone should balance warmth with credibility.
Prefer light backgrounds, simple iconography or soft illustrations (flat or duotone), and bold, clear typography. With accent color from the palette for visual interest.
